Size Definition

Most plants are shown in 2 Inch pots (square), 4 Inch pots (round or square), 6 Inch pots (round),Ā and 8 Inch pots (round).

The Size option, such as 2 Inch, 4 Inch, etc., typically represents the size of the pot that the plant is shown in. InĀ most cases, it does not represent the width, length, or height of the plant, with some exceptions:

- Monkey Tail Cactus: The size represents the length of the cactus

- Some columnar cactus / cacti plants

- Certain plants that are shown without a pot

Ā

Letter Suffix in Size

When aĀ letter is added to the size value (Example: 2 Inch #A or 4 Inch #B), it represents different variants of the same size. The meaning could vary depending on the type of plant. The corresponding listing photos of each size variant provide the best representation of the plants that you'll receive.

TheĀ letter suffix could represent one or more of the following:

-Ā Differences in plant maturity and/or fullness

- Differences in plant size and/or shape

- Differences in style and/or color

- Differences in amount of variegation

- Unrooted cuttings vs. rooted plants

Ā

Packaging & Handling

Vast majority of our plants shown inĀ 4 Inch or larger pots are shipped bare rootsĀ (See below fore more details).

MostĀ plants shown inĀ 2 Inch potsĀ are shipped in theirĀ original plastic pots with soilĀ because they are small andĀ are less subject to damaging during transit.

We carefully wrap each plantĀ with wrapping paper and place them securely inside the box. Then, we fill the remaining space in the box with newsprint paper, air pillows, or crinkle paperĀ to ensure the plants don't move around during shipping, and hence minimize shipping shock.

Shipping with Pots

The plants listed below are shipped with the pot and soil to ensure thatĀ they can stay healthyĀ through transit:

  • Most plants shown in 2 Inch pot (exclusion applies, some 2 Inch plants are shipped bare root toĀ provideĀ better protection)
  • String of Pearls in 2 Inch and 4 Inch pot
  • Variegated String of Pearls
  • String of Hearts
  • Variegated String of Hearts

Lipstick Echeveria: Green Rosettes with Bold Red Edges

Echeveria agavoides 'Lipstick' forms a striking rosette of firm green leaves outlined in red. Its pointed shape gives a bright container arrangement a strong focal point.

  • šŸ’„ Red margins: Leaf tips and edges provide the lipstick-like accent.
  • 🌿 Sculptural leaves: Thick, pointed leaves overlap in a compact rosette.
  • šŸŽØ Variable color: Red tones shift with light, season, and growing conditions.

Choose 'Lipstick' for a sunny container where its bold outline can stand on its own.

Plant options: The Five 2 Inch Cuttings option contains unrooted cuttings. The care tips below describe established plants; cuttings need to develop roots before normal watering.

Ā

Care Tips

Light: Provide bright light and introduce direct sun gradually. Offer afternoon shade in intense summer heat.

Water: Water thoroughly when the soil has dried, then let excess water drain. Reduce watering during cool weather or slow growth.

Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix in a pot with drainage holes.

Temperature: Protect from frost and freezing weather; bring containers under cover before cold conditions arrive.

    Care Instructions

Please visit ourĀ Succulent CareĀ info page for more details.

To ensure the health of succulents, it is important to plant them in porous, well-draining soil. Succulents require little watering, but don't like to sit in wet soil. To create an adequate cactus mix, simply add pumice, perlite, or grit to cactus soil to provide the proper drainage.

Allow the soil to dry to the level recommended in the Care Tips above before watering again. Always drain excess water.

    Ā

    Weather Conditions

    • When ordering, be mindful that living succulents can be damaged by theĀ cold weather.
    • If you live in an area that is below 40°F, please add a shipping warmer to your order or consider purchasing plant until the weather is more suitable.
    • Shipping Warmer:Ā 72+ Hours Heat PacksĀ available for $2.00 each
